A confirmation field that validates if its value matches another field (helpful in confirming emails, passwords, etc.).
Setup instructions
- Enable the field.
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Settings → Form Enhancer.
- Locate the field Confirm Input, toggle it on, and save the settings.
- Adding the Field to a Form. Once enabled:
- Open an existing Fluent Form or create a new one.
- When you add a new field, the new Form Enhancer fields are available among the standard field types.
- Drag and drop the “Confirm input” field into your form.
- Configure Confirm input Options (if applicable). Depending on the specific field, you may need to configure additional settings:
- Make sure that you’ve already added a field that you want to “double-check” with the confirmation field. It works well for text input, email, phone field, etc., but it’s not a good fit for checkboxes or radios.
- Fill out the Target Field. Name the field you want to check. To get the field name, click on the field you want to check, open the Advanced tab, and copy the value of the Name attribute.
- Set your error message and choose whether to validate the value while typing. Otherwise, it will be shown only when validating the form.
